Tara Burner has been a FL resident since 1985. She has worked hands on in roofing, construction, demolition since 1985 (so she has first hand experience, knowledge and not simply information that was taught in a class to pass an exam) as well as being a licensed Real Estate Broker. She has always provided her clients with professionalism, integrity, utmost honesty. If specific protective features are properly installed (roof type, impact windows, hurricane protection, roof shape, roof to wall attachment), your home can qualify for wind/windstorm credits with Florida homeowners insurance company. This can mean a substantial savings to you. These inspection reports are good for 5 years. The wind mit inspection checks your property for wind resistant features (hurricane protection/rating). Some companies are now requiring homeowners to either get a new roof (whether needed or not) or find alternate insurance options. *Pre-listing inspection: If you're thinking about selling your home, a pre-listing inspection helps you grasp what a buyer might find during their inspection of your property. You'll be better equipped to decide what repairs/issues (if any) you may want to remedy prior to listing, help with negotiations, etc. *New Build and year warranty inspection: Yes, your new build needs to be inspected. Harsh reality is new construction is never perfect while some imagine it should be. Most new builds have a year warranty time where they'll fix/repair/replace items of issues; however, there are some elements of the home that only have a 10 day warranty time (windows, doors, etc.-you have to read your contract). |
